A few years ago, Aertssen faced a situation related to their bonded warehouse. One supplier continuously provided incorrect documents, which had led to a considerable customs claim. Handling this situation has been very time consuming for Aertssen. The challange - VWR did not have any central customs management. Instead, each forwarder also handled the import declarations.
